For users who are deploying DocuSign as a transactional platform, beyond the straightforward gathering of electronic signatures, or who have substantial volumes to process, the reporting application provides full access to all datapoints within the DocuSign service. This includes data about each envelope’s workflow and progress, data values for fields set for an envelope and for documents within an envelope as well as drill through to the underlying document.
Hitherto, users needing to extend their reporting from DocuSign have used the DocuSign API to develop their custom reporting. By providing a full feature drag and drop report template designer that gives full access to all DocuSign content within an account, users will be able to design and deploy customised reports from DocuSign without needing to develop and maintain direct integration or to have their integration certified for production use.
ALERTING & ANALYSIS
Built into the reporting dictionary are derived data items that can be used to monitor, understand and action the way in which envelopes are being processed by recipients. This includes breakdown of the overall time taken to process an envelope into the lag between sending to a recipient and their first touch, and the lag from first touch to completion.
